Morgan Wallen Speaks Out About Nashville Arrest: 'I'm Not Proud of My Behaviour'

Morgan Wallen apologizes for arrest and expresses remorse in statement. "I've contacted Nashville law enforcement, my family, and Chief's." "I regret my actions and take full responsibility," he said. In a follow-up tweet, Wallen said, "I deeply respect the officers ensuring our safety daily." He also assured fans that the 2024 leg of his One Night at a Time World Tour, starting in Indianapolis, Ind., would proceed unchanged.

Just days before his arrest, the singer, 30, was taken into custody for allegedly throwing a chair off the roof of Eric Church's honky-tonk bar, Chief's on Broadway. The chair landed near two officers standing in front of the six-story restaurant. He was charged with disorderly conduct, appearing unconcerned as he smiled in his mugshot. He was released from jail at 3:30 a.m. On April 8, his bond was set at $15,250. He must appear in court on May 3, coinciding with his second Nashville tour stop.

Wallen's outburst was allegedly due to his ex-fiancée Katie "KT" Smith marrying Luke Scornavacco on April 3. An insider told the Daily Mail that KT's recent marriage devastated him. The singer got engaged in 2016 but they broke up in November 2019. In 2020, they had a son together. Another source stated that Wallen's drinking had a role in his tantrum. The insider claimed that Morgan is generally nice and fun but lacks self-control when it comes to alcohol. This problem keeps recurring.

Wallen was arrested in 2020 at Kid Rock's bar for public intoxication and disorderly conduct. He faced a DUI charge in 2016, but it was dropped.
