Woman expresses regret to Jason and Kylie Kelce for 'intense' encounter: 'Out of Character for Me'

The woman who yelled at Kylie Kelce in Margate City, NJ over Memorial Day Weekend has apologized for her actions. Andreé Goldberg said she regrets what she said and considers it out of character for herself. She expressed her apology in a statement to ABC's local Action News on May 30.

“I apologize for my anger and actions. They do not represent the welcoming community of Margate. Kylie, 31, and husband Jason Kelce were on a date night at the Jersey Shore last weekend. Kylie got into a verbal argument with an unidentified woman who told her she would never be allowed in town again for refusing to take a picture.

"You're embarrassing yourself," Kylie retorted, as confirmed by video footage. Goldberg now regrets reacting with anger towards Kylie. "As an adult member of my community, I should have respected their right to privacy," she continued in her statement. "I appreciate the grace and understanding shown to me by the Kelces and wish them the best."

According to Action News, Goldberg also directly contacted Kylie and Jason, 36. The couple, who got married in 2018 and have three daughters together, has not publicly addressed the controversy.

The mayor of Margate City issued a public apology to the Kelces, stating that he formally apologizes on behalf of the city for their negative experience over the holiday weekend. "As a father with young children, I understand the significance of a date night. I'm offering a redo date night with dinner on me. The retired Philadelphia Eagles center enjoyed the rest of his family's Sea Isle vacation."

"We had a blast at the beach, hanging out with the girls, indulging in beach food," Jason shared on his "New Heights" podcast, mentioning the enjoyable time spent by the shore. It felt great to be out there on the first big weekend of the year. All businesses are back up and running, as if we never left."
