Shiloh Jolie, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's daughter, has legally changed her last name to drop 'Pitt'. This decision was made by Shiloh herself, and she has hired her own lawyer for the process. "Shiloh hired her own lawyer and paid for it herself," the source said, citing Jolie's abuse allegations as a reason for the name change. On her 18th birthday, May 27, Shiloh filed legal documents to remove Pitt from her last name, as reported by the media.

Besides Shiloh, Pitt and Jolie have five other children: Maddox, 22, Pax, 20, Zahara, 19, Knox, 15, and Vivienne, 15. Two of Shiloh's siblings have also dropped Pitt from their last name. Vivienne is credited as "Vivienne Jolie" in The Outsiders on Broadway, produced by Jolie. Zahara became part of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority at Spelman College in November, introducing herself as Zahara Marley Jolie.

Jolie filed for divorce from Pitt in 2016 and sought sole custody of their six children. An insider revealed recently the ongoing custody battle between Pitt and Jolie has been a sad situation for years. “He didn't see the kids for long periods," a source said of the Bullet Train star. Jolie has accused Pitt of abuse towards her and the children, claims Pitt's lawyers dismiss as misleading and a distraction. In a recent winery dispute filing, a former security guard for the couple accused Jolie of "encouraging" the children to avoid Pitt during visits.

Jolie's attorney, Paul Murphy, responded by stating that Jolie has always wanted separation and healthy relationships within their family. Pitt.
